Philips AmbientLED Bulbs Are Super Efficient, Super Cool

Almost six years ago, due to rising electricity cost and consumption, our household went on a mission to replace all our aging and power-hungry appliances. Almost nothing was spared – television, refrigerator, air conditioner, microwave, flat iron, lights, etc. The result? Nice-looking new gears and almost half-price savings on the electric bill on the same month. Mission accomplished.

Of all those replaced, the fluorescent and incandescent lights were my pet peeves. Especially incandescent. We were replacing them yearly if not more frequent. After that, I liked the soft glow of our CFLs with a bit more brightness but at a much lower wattage.

Now, I want the new Philips AmbientLED bulbs. These LED bulbs conserve much more energy plus they don’t have mercury or lead that is common to CFLs. And, oh, each bulb can last up to 15 years! Talk about being greener.

And did I mention they look cool? Just look at that. It looks like an inverted flux capacitor.
