Lutron’s C-L Dimmers: Energy-Efficient Aesthetics

Here’s something to complement those cool LED lights and reduce your electricity bills even further – a LED dimmer. But not just another dimmer, Lutron Electronics dimmers are made to work efficiently with CFLs and LED lights.

Traditional dimmers usually fail to provide smooth and full-range dimming. They either have fixed setpoints (off, mid, full) or are unable to provide enough energy at low slider settings.

Lutron’s C-L line of new dimmers use a technology they call HED that has improved circuitry to provide smooth dimming. Heck, it would even work with any dimmable light you have – LED, CFL, incandescent and halogen. And its thoughtful aesthetics will blend with your interiors.

Each installed dimmer will provide 5-9 percent more energy savings. The C-L line has been awarded the 2011 Edison Best New Product in Energy & Sustainability and the 2011 Consumer Electronics Mark of Excellence award.
