I couldn't have wrote it better myself. I would say that I appreciate Google making their browser open-source through the Chromium Project. This will allow Opera (and other vendors) to implement the tech specs Google comes up with for browser speed, security, etc (assuming Opera doesn't have it already). As far as browser innovations go, everybody who's ever used Opera knows everyone else copies their ideas.

Given the choice between only Microsoft and Android, yeah, I would’ve preferred them going Android. But overall, I still prefer they just stuck with SymbianOS and MeeGo simply for the sake of competition. An all-Android market is becoming stale for my taste. But business changes led them scrambling for a new strategy, I guess.
